Recently, Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, reached out to people of India to encourage focusing on Indian Toys. In his flagship program, Mann ki Baat, where he shares his thoughts with People of India, he pointed out how startups in India can put India on the worldwide map of Toy Industry.
Till now Indian companies had been working behind the scenes for few of the major brands like Funskool. There are almost non existent names of the companies those manufacturer toys in India.
Nil Social Media Presence
On the instagram i cannot find even 20 big names (more than 5000 followers on Instagram)
Even #indiantoys had only around 1000 posts on Instagram
On YouTube there are hardly any companies promoting their brands. There are few youtuber influencers who are promoting toys but not exclusively. Its a niche product and is sufficient to help you earn money.
Infact in Dec 2019, Highest Earner was a 8 year old kid on Youtube who does unboxing on toys. So, if a kid can do it, why not you?

I see Huge Scope and opportunity in this industry specifically on Digital platform.
The companies can work on going digital not just to indian market but worldwide. They can tie with with budding influencers like @ankita.banthia

Spurred by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘vocal for local’ call in his ‘Mann Ki Baat’ radio programme on Sunday, Karnataka Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa said the country’s first toy making cluster would be built at Koppal in the state’s northwest region.
